What is the Bale Trail? Participants across Todd County will create bale displays and sculptures using hay bales or loose hay. See the links at the bottom of this page for pictures of past bale displays. All Todd Countians can participate! If you want to create a display, look for the Bale Trail Entry Form to be released soon. Submit entry to the Welcome Center in the Historic Todd County Courthouse, 1 Public Square, Elkton, or at Elkton City Hall, 71 Public Square or email to info@toddchamber.com.
How will we find the bale sculptures? A map of display locations will be located on this page at that time with physical addresses of each display. There is no set trail to drive, you can visit as many sculptures as you want in any order. The Bale Trail officially ends at sundown on Sunday, Nov. 3, so we ask that bales be on display until Monday, Nov. 4. However, this will depend on how well the displays stand up to weather.
