Acclaimed author and poet Robert Penn Warren, the nation’s first Poet Laureate, won the first of three Pulitzer Prizes in 1947 for All the King’s Men, and is the only person in history to have won Pulitzer Prizes for both fiction and poetry.  He was born in Guthrie in 1905.
