Kentucky Star

Location: 798 Collier Springs Road, Elkton KY
Matthew Harrison constructed and painted the Kentucky Star and gave it to his mother, Wilda Harrison, for Christmas.  The star is located on the garage.

Star of Hope

Location: 798 Collier Springs Road, Elkton KY
The Star of Hope is located on the Harrison Farm.  The Star of Hope was constructed and painted by Matthew Harrison and is framed from old barn wood from the Harrison Home Place next to the tobacco barn it is located on.  The tobacco barn has been used many years on the farm to store crops.

Location: 7370 Guthrie Road (Hwy 181 S), Guthrie, KY
TCCHS FFA constructed and painted the Weathervane square for Doris Kelly.  Ms. Kelly’s grandmother made many quilts and this design reminds her of one the quilts she made.  The blues and browns are very calming and pleasing to look at.



Star of Bethlehem

Location: 2222 Old Allensville Rd, Elkton, KY
Mark and Deana Power say the quilt square reminds them daily of our savior.  The colors are a very bright and cheerful reminder of His love for us. Mr. Lonnie Meacham constructed the quilt square that is displayed on the barn near Old Allensville Road.

Wedding Ring

Location: Martin Homeplace, 895 Chester Martin Lane, Elkton, KY (Allegre community)
The wedding ring design was chosen in memory of Ellis Martin, Howard Martin’s mother, who enjoyed quilting as a hobby.  It’s traditional colors of blues, yellow and white are beautiful against the black stable located at the Homeplace.  The Martin Homeplace is a popular venue for outdoor weddings and family reunions.  TCCHS FFA constructed this beautiful quilt square.
